A merchant banker for Banca Leonardo Group and Chairman of Leonardo Midcap CF, he also serves on the boards of KLM and Bouygues. Former Director of the French Prime Minister’s Cabinet, he has also been Chairman and Chief Executive of Compagnie Financière de Suez and Banque Indosuez, and Stern Bank. Previous board positions include Lagardère, Crédit Agricole, Air Liquide and Renault. A graduate of École Polytechnique and Institut d’Études Politiques, he authors books and articles on politics and the economy.

Currently honorary Chairman of the Air France Group and member of the Air Canada board, senior advisor for Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe and the Texas Pacific Group in France. A former member of boards including, SNCF, La Poste and Société Générale, he has also been Chairman of EEC Committees, Groupe des Assurances Nationales, Executive Committee of IATA, Bankers Trust France, Paris Ile de France Regional Development Agency and Deutsche Bank Investment banking. He holds the position of Officier de la Légion d'Honneur and Commandeur de l'Ordre National du Mérite.

Mr. François David, current Chairman of COFACE. David sits on the boards of Rexel and is supervisory board member of Areva and Lagardère SCA. A member of the Council of the Order of the Legion of Honour, his previous positions include President of ICISA, European Advisor to Citigroup, President of the Berne Union, Chief Executive of Aérospatiale and board member at EADS and Vinci. He served with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Economy, Finance and the Budget. A graduate of the Insitut d'Études Politiques Paris and the École Nationale d'Administration, David is a well published author on business and finance.

Mr. Thierry Marraud, current Chief Financial Officer of the Bolloré Group. He serves also as President of the Edhec Foundation, and Chairman of the board for Copacel (Confédération Française de l'Industry des papiers-cartons et cellulose) and Cellulose du Pin, Papeteries de Condat and Lembacel. Formerly Finance Director at Pont-à-Mousson then Saint-Gobain, he became Saint-Gobain’s group representative for Spain & Portugal and latterly Director of the Wood-Paper branch. Marraud has also been President of Marsh SA, Chairman of the board for Clinvest and member of the executive committee of Crédit Lyonnais.
