    Objective: The client was looking for new ways to cut costs while increasing the efficiency and productivity of its operations.

    Approach: The team implemented a new management approach to increase visibility and installed a standardized work ticket process to streamline processes. Master schedules and forecasting strategies were also used to better balance the workload and save on labor costs. The team also helped management redesign job functions to streamline the department’s key objectives.

    Results: Invoice processing rose by 36% while staffing levels decreased. Total non-invoiced tickets fell by 40% and average days outstanding fell to 30%. The new behavioral model provided a consistent framework and clarity over expectations for management behavior and responsibilities.
    Objective: A large utility company needed to demonstrate operational improvements to the regulatory commission in order to avoid a rate increase.

    Approach: The project implemented authorization checks and balances for overtime and hiring. Executive alignment and behavioral training sessions were conducted to improve work efficiency. The team reallocated the workload from contractors to in-house field techs and restructured construction, technical support, and business development units. A contractor management policy was developed and integrated through procurement and business units.
